LIGUE 1 … BEST PLAYERS AND FORMATION GUIDE
Ligue 1 is the most suited league for those who are beginning
with their Ultimate Team. This team has some very decent players with very low
price, if they belonged to some leagues with the like of BPL or BBVA, they
could have been in the category of unaffordable players. With a very decent
start-up team, one can expect a good result, leading him to higher divisions
and a dream team. If one works patiently with this team, it may lead to winning
of Division 1 in single player mode, earning you a free Gold Pack. As Division
1 single player has a special tournament, in which Ligue 1 team is confronting
Serie A teams.

Formations:
This league is best played with a formation 4-3-3(2), but for
those who are weak at defending, 5-2-2-1 also offers special place. There is no
doubt about playing wingers in this league, so whichever formation you opt to
play with, if not these two, be careful to make a place for wingers.
Goalkeeper:
We suggest only two choices in this place, one being SIRIGU
and other RUFFIER.
There are other good goalkeepers in this league, but while
the above two are very much affordable at beginning stages, neglecting them
will not be a good idea.
RB/RWB:
Good options are available in this league for right-backs.
They may not be showing good ratings on their card value, but they offer, to possible extent, best value for money. Options are AURIER & VER DER WIEL.
CB:
For matching the needs of 4-3-3(2) and 5-2-2-1, we have
sufficient defenders available in this league, THIAGO SILVA being the best and
DAVID LUIZ the second best. This is amazing that both these defenders have got
their TOTY (Team of the Year) Cards, and they are announced best defenders and
TOTY members at Ballon D’or. We also have options with PERRIN, ABDENNOUR, NKOULOU & MARQUINHOS.
LB/LWB:
Though not best, but at least a fair choice and options are
available in this league for Left-Back position. MAXWELL, DIGNE & BEDIMO are
some of those names. While Maxwell also has succeeded in getting an IF
(in-form) card, but that doesn’t offer any good deal. Not a good value for
money to go for Maxwell in IF card.
CDM/CM/CAM:
Coming on to center mid-fielders, we have got a decent
choice. With the presence of Matuidi in this league, you can not go for any
other CDM. Other good options are JOAO MAUTINHO, CABAYE, VERRATI & PESTORE. We fail to
find a good Attacking-Midfielder in this league, so we opted not to pick any.

RM/RF/RW:
Coming on to this topic. As the prologue to this blog already
suggested, playing this league without a winger is not a good choice. LUCAS
being available as RW in this league, we need not examine to see other options.
Even then the available options are only GIROSCKI

ST:
With a variety of strikers available in this league, you can
choose a striker to fit into your play-style. Whatever is your style, there
should be no-one out there who would not want Zlatan IBRAHIMOVIC to be the
leader of strike, but he falls between our UNAFFORDABLE category. By selling
one Zlatan IBRAHIMOVIC, one can make a decent BPL or BBVA Squad. The options
available in this place differ for the game you play. It differs on the point
where you are playing online or offline.
